Two for my DT work on LSBS (unfortunately the gallery is still playing up there) so I'll upload here first.
I've also completed a paper bag album page for a swap but won't bother uploading it. TFL.

Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas day.
I was exhausted last night after a great day. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and like their gifts so that's a plus.
We've been for a drive in the country today - out to Boonah
again. Don't think the girls are as taken with the area as we are. Now there's a surprise. Peter's Mum enjoyed the drive.
I'd made some cute little magnetic clipboards for my Mum and MIL - the plan is to give/send them new pics of the girls every so often throughout the year to change the photo that's on it at the moment. Here's the one I made for my Mum (the pic is a 4 x 6 size).

I also made another baking tray magnetic notice board (it hangs by ribbon not shown in the photo) for my girlfriend Sandy - who loves frangipani's - here's the finished product - which she loved!
I haven't done a LO for weeks (or so it seems) so tonight I'm doing some scrapping! A Christmas LO is in order me thinks!

I'm about to head over to my parent's place to start the traditions of our Christmas....Prawn and mango salad Christmas Eve at their place. Tomorrow, we will all spend the day here - my parents, my brother, Peter's Mum, the girls, Peter & I - eating breakfast, opening presents, eating some more, relaxing, playing with our new "toys", eating lunch, snoozing, eating, playing some more, and then eating dinner!!! Lots of eating for someone trying to watch their weight! Will test me out for sure!
Hope you all have a wonderful day too!

First off - some of Danah & her friend Jessica - performing "Little Red Rhyming Hood" at the end of year drama presentation late November. Danah played the part of Gran (hence the very severe make-up!).

Here's the small magnetic noticeboard I made for Tara's teacher, Miss Reding (year 2). It's made from a small baking tin. A big hit today when she gave it to her apparently.
I've also "altered" some wine bottles for friends - no...not by drinking the wine first!!!
Finally - a pic of the girls trimming the Christmas tree on Sunday night.

My exercise routine has been non-existent this weekend! No walks unless you count walking around the shopping centre today with Mum & the girls!!! Lucky I've got an appointment with the personal trainer at the work gym on Thursday!!
Disaster of the major variety to strike this weekend.....the PlayStation has died!!! Ekkk! And guess what I bought on Thursday night....yes....singstar for the girls (& me!!) Mum tells me she's also bought Peter a game for it for Christmas. So, looks like I'll have to buy a new PS2 before Christmas!!! Don't suppose anyone knows anyone looking to sell their PS2???
Don't forget to drop into the LSBS Cyber Crop next weekend or to check out the daily sale with new reduced items added each day :)
Here's a LO from last week that Blogger wouldn't let me upload! TFL :)

Happy Birthday little brother - he's the big 40 today - not that he checks out my blog - do you Andrew???
I'm going for dot point again this week - one day I'll have time - to sit down and pour out my heart and soul to you all - but for now - it's the quick & dirty version of my week with a few pics/LO's thrown in for good measure!!! For something different - I'll go backwards this week - starting with today!
* Two tupperware parties!!! Yes - TWO in one day - ekk!!!
* I'm now hosting a tupperware party (2.30pm 14 January) and you're ALL invited!!! Leave a comment if you want my addy!
* Tara had her Santa photo taken today and left a letter in his mailbox. She'd written out her "wish list" with 10 goodies listed! Managed to see it...and maybe able to help Santa with a couple on the list!
* Worked in the canteen at school - fund raising - Danah helped and commented on the way home "If that's what working is like - I don't like it!!!!"
* Big walk!
* Grocery shopping
* Swimming (Tara - not me)
* Friday night Crop - Serendipity SCrapbooks Stafford - enjoyable night although didn't get much done. Only knew Michelle (lovely as always) & her sister Kelly - but still enjoyed the night. Finished one 8.5 x 11 LO (Pool Time) and have since finished two others I started on the night. Also completed a money box for Tara (for Christmas so can't show you yet).
* Started Christmas shopping - mad rush around Thursday night without the girls.
* Thursday WW weigh went well again - total loss so far 5.8 kg so well on target to my 10kg by Christmas.
* Parent teacher interview with Danah's teacher - happy all round with her efforts this year :)
* Stopped in at a new scrap shop on the north side on my way back to work from Caboolture - love going to new shops.
* Dad's birthday - celebration Wednesday night.
* Scrap with Sandy Tuesday night.
* Mould taken for my new ortho footwear inserts - pick up this Tuesday - hopefully my foot pain will END now!
Blogger not playing nicely (again!) & won't let me upload other images - will try again tomorrow night.
My Dad has reminded me that he checks out my blog occasionally - hi Dad, don't forget to leave a comment next time you drop by - so must remember this in future!!! He commented on some of my answers to the recent 50 questions tag - opps - forgot about that!!!
Been reading up about the Sydney Paper Festival this weekend (on forums & blogs) - sounds like those who attended had a fantastic time (except maybe Lisa P who sliced herself quite nastily on her craft knife) Sounds like the LSBS stall was a big hit! Michelle enjoyed classes (& pics) with Elsie and Zina. I'm looking forward to hearing more about it from Helen (here in Cairns) as she's been down to Sydney too.
At LSBS there's a group of us trying to support each other in our weight battles - and we set our own goals each week. This week (the first) my goals were to:
(Edit - Monday morning) Let's try again! Right - it seems to be all working again and my post is no longer in the Archives section!!! Hope the gremlins are gone for good!
Had a great day on Saturday - meeting IRL with online friend Steph up from Melbourne on holiday. We did a mini shop hop, visiting 4 shops over 4 1/2 hours or so.
Caught up with other lovelies from LSBS @ South Bank for dinner. Sara (QldScrapper) is looking fantastic @ 12 weeks pregnant! Unfortunately Steph's little man, Bennett wasn't 100% and neither was Zane's partner, Mark. (Zane, you'll notice I didn't put a link to YOUR blog - you know why!!!) We still had a good night. Nice to meet for the first time Sharni, although the traffic didn't help her or Michelle who both had drama's getting to South Bank.
Back row (L to R) : Me, Zane, Michelle, Sara
Front row: Steph (& sleeping Bennett) & Sharni.
Tomorrow I'm dropping into The Craft Attic as Debra closes the doors for the last time @ Carina. Debra's heading overseas soon for a few months and plans on opening a new shop @ a new location early next year.
Next Saturday, the Scrap Club is meeting at the "exotic" location of Mt Tamborine @ lovely Leisa's place. Mind you after receiving her email with instructions on finding her place & the wildlife we might encounter I'm a little nervous about going up there.
Well Blogger hasn't disappointed me....uploaded all but my last LO to share!!! Will try again with the last one in a new post otherwise it'll have to wait 'til another time.
Blogger having more than the last laugh...doing very strange things tonight - won't publish without error message and last post ended up in Archieve file but not on main page??? Let's see what happens now???

Here's the card and Words of Wisdom Paper Bag album page I couldn't upload last night. The card is a "lift" from Crissy @ Scrappin the SCraps :) I've also done a similar birthday card but can't share incase the birthday girl reads my blog...

Now I'm off to watch Grey's Anatomy!

Okay - I've been very slack and missed my at least reasonably regular blog session on a Sunday night.
day a week or so ago... yah...Megan, Julie & Pam! Julie's Mum, Sue - also joined us @ Julie's place to crop - her she is hard at work!
For the past few weeks my long-time (almost 30 years!!!) girlfriend, Sandy, has been coming over once a week for some scrapping lessons. She's not so interested in LO's but she's been doing some lovely off-the-page projects including a canvas for her DH's recent 50th birthday. Last week she made a photoframe and notebook - her's her wonderful work. I don't have to do much...just let her loose in what she calls my "shop"!!! (okay - the photoframe pic won't upload :()
I managed to finish a CJ entry (Simple Pleasures) and a LO for a sketch challenge I'd set on LSBS (Happy Go Lucky).
groceries) to complete another LO for my DT @ LSBS - which is a pic from a crop @ Scrapbook City in July. Hey Leish ... hope you don't mind .... but love this pic of you and Zane!

Sunday night....here's my week in dot point!!

& Ours (old lovers re-unite after partners die + their 18 children).

Big congratulations to Sara (qldscrapper) & Nathan - who are expecting their first bub! Take care of yourself Sara and enjoy this amazing, special time (even though you might be feeling a bit ordinary at the moment - that WILL change!) Oh and don't forget to take lots of pics - starting from now!!
Here's my altered 4 litre paint tin - for Mum's birthday next week - busy filling it with goodies ATM.

I've had the best two days in Sydney! Started with the free red wine on the plane going down (seat mix up that I helped them out with). Got into the hotel (Four Seasons) about 8pm - king room with harbour views - not only did I have harbour views - but views straight out onto the Opera House and the Bridge!! Decided to celebrate with a cold white wine and room service - which was wheeled into me on a table (not a tray) - crisp white linen, gorgeous crockery and cutlery and the food wasn't bad either!!! Hopped into my massive king bed - white crisp white sheets and fluffy soft doona and feather pillows to watch the end of Idol and all of Robbie!!! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!!!
I had a divine bubble bath - with classical music piped into the bathroom. The toiletaries they provided were divine too (bought the soap home with me!!)
The service, food and staff were all excellent - I never wanted to leave!!! The conference wasn't bad either - great dinner last night - more great food and wine! + a small gift each - a boxed bottle of wine! Did some general "networking" with a range of different people including a Salvo Army officer who I sat with last night @ dinner - he was a gas (although only drinking lemonade!!)
If I hadn't forced myself to go for a quick walk across the road to Circular Quay this morning - I wouldn't have left the hotel from Sunday night until this afternoon when we flew home again. I could definately get used to 5+ star service ALL the TiME!!!
Bad scrappin' mistake though - FoRGot my CAMERA!!! One lady said she went out and bought a disposable - her view was too good not to capture it on film!!!
Back to reality now.... just put a load of washing on...house is a mess..... dishwasher is sort-of packed ... and I need to get myself ready for tomorrow when I go on an Excursion to Chinatown with 80+ Year 6 (11 year olds) students with DD Danah (better pack some paracetamol!!)
