A2Z Sketch Layout

Haven't had much scrappin mojo lately ... been doing too much sewing ... but did do this sketch layout last weekend at a fund raising crop!  Great sketch - thanks A2Z!

Stuck!

It's hard to be flippant about things today as we here in Queensland come to terms with the fury of mother nature - please keep safe all those in flood affected areas!

I do have another challenge 'share' - this time my take on the first Stuck challenge for 2011.  I used a pic from our Mother's Day High Tea a few years ago for this sketch.  I'm really missing my scanner and just can't quite "get" my photographs of my LO's just right!  But here it is...

My First - White with 1

Holidays mean a bit of extra time to scrap, especially with the horrid wet weather we've been having!  So I've taken the opportunity to have a go at the January White with 1 challenge - navy/royal blue with bunting!  Hope my "blues" fit within the criteria! 

And yes, I did BUNTING!!!!  Not a huge fan of it but used a design lifted from the lovely Chelle Jamieson at Chelley Bean Designs (the bunting I bought from Chelle was pink and just wouldn't fit the criteria!!).

Also had a play with making some denim embellishments! 

The photo's are Danah's experiments with her new Canon 1000D ... liking that I'm getting extra photo's to scrap now!

Wet weather = time to scrap!

While the weather has been very wet and soggy here over the holidays I have had time to do some scrapping already!

Here's my entry for the January Kraft It Up challenge - summer theme with "summer" in the title!  We love our cherries here almost as much as mango!!

Still without my scanner - so colours aren't great :(
