The week that was...

How fast did that week fly by??? Can't believe this time last week I was waiting for my flight home from Sydney.

It's all been a blur so nothing exciting to report. I have managed some scrapping - including finishing off the ONE LO I did at the retreat!

Here's my next LO for the Craft Attic Inspiration comp #9 - scrapping about some achievement/positive in your life, one photo and red, white & blue colour scheme.

Used some yummy Dream Streets PP for this DT LO at LSBS - of my dear Mum & Dad who help us with so much and we don't say "thank you" nearly enough! The range of papers I've used are called "Near & Dear" - perfect for this LO!

I've also put up another digital "task" at LSBS - to use a LARGE photo in a LO - here's my sample!

And today I finished off a Father's Day card for my Dad - don't look Dad!!! This is based on a step-by-step done at LSBS by the talented and very sweet Helen Jolly.

Well I'm away from home most of the week at Alice Springs with work....hopefully they'll survive here at home without me ;) I'll be home Friday evening to lots of washing and a bomb site for a house I'm sure!

Can you believe

Can you believe I only took 15 photographs for the entire weekend away! Yes, I'm back, I survived and I was one slack scrapper/photographer!!! NOt only did I take very few (embarrassingly few) photos but I didn't scrap much either!

Had a blast from the moment I arrived in Sydney (even though my flight was delayed due to earlier fog in Sydney)....until I got home (in the beautiful rain) on Sunday night!

Wonderful to catch up with Shannon, Narelle, Helen again PLUS meeting in real life heaps of other lovely ladies from LSBS - Bon, AT, Owl, Lisa, Celeste, Deanne, Nic, Nic, Mary, Corina, PT....the huge list goes on.

I broke my scrap diet (at last) but didn't go overboard even though Cath did have lots of nice goodies there!

Did 3 classes with mini-book type projects....all beautiful so didn't come home empty handed!

Didn't sleep much...probably about 8 hours all up over the weekend!

Narelle has some pics up at her blog....you'll see me in my PJ's (3rd place in the PJ Parade comp) + other fun pics from our bus ride from the airport (3.5 hours to get there!!!)

I can now show you some of the goodies I made to take with me....

First off....guess the baby LO....I had NO IDEA with any of them. Narelle won this guessing competiton by getting 10 out of 2o-something LO's correct! Here's mine...

And here's my name tag (glasses) for the retreat. There were some great tags there (and mine got an honourable mention).

Finally - I altered a small metal box for my ATC's - here's the box!

Well, plans are up already for the 2008 LSBS Retreat - so start saving your $$$ now - it really was/is a great weekend!

Almost all packed for the LSBS Retreat this coming weekend....should be a hoot! Now I just have to stay healthy (fighting a sore throat tonight!!!)

I'm sure I"ll have lots of pics and stories to tell next Monday (can't see me blogging Sunday night when I get home!!)

One very excited 11 year old...

Danah (11) is off to Canberra, Sydney & the snow tomorrow for 5 very full days! 101 Year 7 students and 16 staff...fly off first thing tomorrow for three days in Canberra, a day at Smiggins and then a very quick trip to Sydney before arriving home 9pm on Friday!!!

Scrap wise...I'm getting excited about my upcoming retreat....slowly getting organised for it.

Nothing much to share...just one LO....that was the basis for a Attic Inspiration Challenge...but I've added a bit to the version I uploaded at the Craft Attic! Poor Debra is currently changing servers and the site has been down for days....what a headache!

I've also been making scrapchat buddy tags all week.....
